August Favorites

Hear me talk about these August favorites in Instagram Stories. The discussion is saved in my highlights on my profile.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil: If you'd prefer an oil to a balm and you can't find the Palmer's, this is great first step in a double cleanse. This will be half off on Tuesday, 9/10 during the Ultra 21 Days of Beauty.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Toner: After exfoliating, I don't want to wait for my pH level to even back out so I can put on serums, so I use a toner that balances it out. This is my new favorite.

Origins Drink Up Intensive Hydrating Mask: I've been wearing this 5x a week as my last step at night and I wake up with plumper skin and less redness.

ELF Jelly Pop Dew Primer: I love the MILK Hydrogrip Primer and this is a decent dupe for a fraction of the price. The texture is a SMIDGE slimy but the hold is good.

Maybelline Dream BB Fresh: This summer I needed a BB cream to just throw on when I wanted a little coverage but not a full face. This was a rock star.

Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate: I've been a Bobbi Brown corrector purist for YEARS, but this might be the one that finally mimics the texture and achievement of the BB for half the price. You need VERY LITTLE to cover.

L'Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer: The hunt for a dupe for Shape Tape is never-ending. This once comes very close. Requires a TEENY amount to cover lots of darkness. Doesn't settle in lines.

Believe Beauty Foundation: Youtuber Allie Glines raved about this foundation from Dollar General and I couldn't believe it. Then I tried this $5 wonder and I am sold. It's a medium coverage and it lasts all day.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush: An oldie but a goodie, but it works beautifully at putting on liquid products. So soft and buffs foundation to a skin like finish.

Believe Beauty Highlighter in Champagne Kiss: There is fall out, but this is still a dupe for Becca's Champagne Pop. Lasts all day.

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Killer Cheekbones Palette: I've wanted to try this forever and finally took the plunge. It's a perfect travel palette that comes in two shades. You can use it as intended or on the eyes.

Colourpop Dream St. Palette: Colourpop really does make the best budget friendly formula of palettes. The Fame palette is one of my top 3 of all time. This one from Kathleen Lights was a long overdue purchase.

Ardell Naked Lashes: I love a good fake lash and Ardell 110s are a longtime favorite. These just trumped them. SO LIGHTWEIGHT. They are a delight to wear.

Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Lemonade: Drink it straight. Mix it with other goodness. THIS IS THE BEST SODA ON THE MARKET.

Oral B Pro 1000: My dentist, endodontist, and 5 dentists I watched on YouTube all recommended this specific toothbrush and said Oral-B was much better than Phillips. I believe them.
